I posted this two years ago after the Stanley Cup was awarded to Chicago. Congratulations to the LA Kings for their first championship in 45 years.-- I noticed something while watching The Chicago Blackhawks win the Stanley Cup on the road in Philly last night. Since the Hawks were the visitor, Gary Bettman presented the Cup to Jonathan Toews at the end of the rink, not far from the Zamboni entrance. This happened in Detroit last year and in Pittsburgh the year before that. The Carolina Hurricanes, Anaheim Ducks and last night the LA Kings won at home so the cup was presented at center ice.
