This series has been great. Chicago took a the early 2-0 lead and the Flyers stormed back with two convincing victories. I feel match up between the clubs is still even. It took the Hawks until game five to show, only for one period, that they were clearly the superior team. I think the Flyers will take game 6 at home tonight setting up the ultimate game in the NHL, game 7 of the Stanley Cup Final.
The Hawks will have a small edge in Game 7 because they are the home team. History is on their side as well but it did work against them when they lost to the Canadiens in Game 7 of the 1971 final. The Flyers will have to play a near perfect game if they want a shot at winning the Cup in Chicago. Oh yeah, they have to still win tonight first.
